Concept role (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Concept Role:
From a High Level Operational Concept: right-click the High Level Operational Concept, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Concept Role.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the element that is the type of the Concept Role, or create an untyped Concept Role.
Click the Concept Role button, and then click in free space on the diagram (or the High Level Operational Concept if shown). On the Select Type dialog, create or select the element that is the type of the Concept Role, or create an untyped Concept Role.
From an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the element that you want to use as the type of the Concept Role, and then drag that element to free space on the diagram (or to the High Level Operational Concept if shown).

When shown on an NOV-1a High-level Operational Concept Graphic, a Concept Role appears as follows:
