Creating items and relationships using Quick Create
With Quick Create, you can create links and linked symbols. Point to the edges of a diagram symbol to display the quick create 
icon. Using this icon, you can quickly create links and nodes in the followings ways:
icon. Using this icon, you can quickly create links and nodes in the followings ways:• Click the Quick Create icon on a symbol and then, click the destination symbol you want to link to. A popup menu appears on which you can select the type of link you want to create between the two symbols.
• Click the Quick Create icon on a symbol and then, point to and double-click on a blank area on the diagram. A popup menu appears using which you can create the new symbol and select the type of link you want to create with the new symbol.
The Quick Create icon appears on symbols in the following diagrams:
• Class diagrams and their specializations, such as, requirement diagrams and block definition diagrams
• Use case diagrams and their specializations, such as, OV-1d use case diagrams
• Variant diagrams
