Linking items on a diagram
You must consider the following while creating links.
If the Route links automatically check box (in > > ) is selected, then:
• If you press ALT while creating links, automatic routing for the current link is disabled.
• If you press SHIFT on the start node, Modeler selects an optimal location for the link start point on the node border. If you do not press SHIFT, Modeler selects the start point close to the location of the click.
• If you press SHIFT on the end node, Modeler selects an optimal location for the link end point on the node border. If you do not press SHIFT, Modeler selects the end point close to the location of the click.
To link items on a diagram
1. On the diagram’s tab, click the button for the required link type.
2. On the diagram, click the item from which the link starts.
3. Click the destination item.
