Linking an item or diagram to a note or note link
You can link an item or diagram to a Note or Note Link on a diagram. The Name of a linked item or diagram is displayed on the Note or Note Link, unless you have chosen to not show the name through the View Options dialog.
A Stereotype can set up an item so that when that item is dragged to a diagram, Modeler creates a Note that is linked to the item that was dragged. For more information, see Overview of setting up items to appear on any diagram type through stereotypes.

If you delete an item that is linked to any Notes or Note Links on diagrams, Modeler deletes the associated Notes and Note Links from the diagrams.
If you right-click a Note symbol that has a linked item, the Delete from Model command deletes the Note symbol and the linked item.
