Detailed report command (CM tool integration)
You use this command to generate a configuration management report about a Package (or the Model) and all its sub-Packages. The report is generated to the Output pane.
This command appears on the context menu when you right-click a Model or Package, select Tools > Configuration Management, and then click Advanced.
To use this command you require a Modeler license and a CM Integration license. In addition, this command is not available when the CM tool integration is disabled - you can enable and disable the CM tool integration through the Enable Configuration Management Integration check box for the General tab on the Tool Options dialog.
The report includes the following information:
Date - date of report
Time- time of report
Current User- your user name.
Database Administrator- whether you are a Database Administrator for the database in which the current Model resides.
For each Package (includes the Model) the report includes the following information:
Item Name- the Modeler Name of the Package.
Id- the Modeler ID of the Package.
Protected- whether the Package is protected in Modeler.
Stub- whether the Package is a stub in Modeler.
Current user's rights to this object - Modeler access permissions you have to the Package in Modeler.
SCC Filename - the filename component of the pkf file created for the Package.
User SCC Project Path - CM tool project used to store the pkf and idf files created for the Package, as specified locally on your computer. If a local SCC Project Path is specified, this value is used rather than the Model SCC Project Path.
User SCC Aux Path - provides additional information about the CM tool project used for to store the pkf and idf files created for the Package, as specified locally on your computer. If a local SCC Aux Path is specified, this value is used rather than the Model SCC Aux Path.
Model SCC Project Path - CM tool project used to store the pkf and idf files created for the Package, as specified in the Model. This value is used only if no value is specified for the local User SCC Project Path.
Model SCC Aux Path - provides additional information about the CM tool project used for to store the pkf and idf files created for the Package, as specified in the Model. This value is used only if no value is specified for the local User SCC Aux Path.
SCC Checkout User - name of the CM tool user that has the pkf and idf files created for the Package checked out.
Pkg File - the path and name of the pkf created for the Package.
Pkg File CM Status- whether the pkf file created for the Package is under source code control. If the pkf file is checked out, the report also states whether the pkf file is checked out by the current user and whether the pkf file is checked out to the current Model.
Pkg file present / Pkg file not present- whether the pkf file specified by 'Pkg File' is present.
ID File- the path and name of the idf file created for the Package.
ID File CM Status- whether the idf file created for the Package is under source code control.
ID file present / ID file not present - whether the idf file specified by 'ID File' is present.
