Applying a stereotype to a model item instance on a diagram
You can apply a Stereotype to the following item instances on a diagram:
• Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Event and Operation instances on a Concurrency Diagram.
• Event and Operation instances on a Communication Diagram.
• Event and Operation instances on a Sequence Diagram.
To apply a Stereotype to a model item instance (through Property Pages):
2. On the diagram, right-click the item to which you want to apply the Stereotype, and then click Instance Properties.
3. Click the Items tab.
4. In the drop-down list box select
Stereotypes, and then click the
Link button.
5. In the middle or right pane, select the check boxes associated with the Stereotypes you want to apply.
6. In the middle or right pane, clear the check boxes associated with the Stereotypes you want to remove.
7. Click OK.
To apply a Stereotype to a model item instance (through drag-and-drop operation):
Drag the Stereotype to the item instance on the diagram.
Modeler applies the Stereotype to the item instance. In addition, Modeler links the Stereotype to the diagram so that the Stereotype is shown on the diagram.
