Creating an asset in a model (Asset Library integration)
1. If you have not done so already, install the Asset Library Bridge, do so. For more information, see Installing the Asset Library Bridge.
2. If you have not done so already, add the Asset profile to your model. For more information, see Adding the Asset profile to a model.
3. If you are not using an existing Package as an Asset:
a. In Modeler, Right-click the Model or Package that is to own the Asset, and select New > Package.
b. Type the name of the Asset, and then press the Enter key.
4. Right-click the Package you created, and select Stereotypes > Asset.
5. From the Asset you have created, create the child items that define that Asset.
The child items can include model items such as Interfaces, Ports, Classes, and Blocks. For more information, see Asset mappings.
For the child items to be published they must be set as Public in the General tab of their Property Pages. Private items are not published, allowing you to control youand r 'Black/Gray-Box' boundary.
