Adding items to a profile diagram
You can add an existing item to a Profile Diagram in the following ways:
Dragging items from a Modeler pane to the Profile Diagram.
Through a Profile Diagram tab button.
Through the diagram background.
You can add existing items to a Profile Diagram in the following ways:
Through populate commands available on the diagram background and symbols.
Note that you can only add items that are child items of the Profile that owns the Profile Diagram.

Dragging an item to a Profile Diagram:
1. Open the Profile Diagram.
2. In an appropriate pane, locate the item you want to add to the Profile Diagram.
3. Drag the item from the appropriate pane to the Profile Diagram.
Through a Profile Diagram tab button:
1. Open the Profile Diagram.
2. On the diagram's tab, click the appropriate button, and then on the diagram right-click the diagram background or within the appropriate item.
To add Input Pins or Output Pins, right-click near the edge of the item.
3. From the popup menu, click the command for the item you want to add to the diagram.
Through the diagram background:
1. Open the Profile Diagram.
2. Right-click the diagram background, select Add, and then select the item you want to add.
Through the populate commands:
Right-click the diagram symbol you want to populate, select Populate, and then click the appropriate command.
You can populate all an Activities items: right-click the diagram background within the frame, and select Populate > Contents.
