Spell Checking Options dialog
The Spell Check Options dialog allows you to perform the following tasks:
• configure the spell checker
• add words that may not be part of the standard dictionary
• add common misspellings of standard or nonstandard words
The Options tab
In this tab, the following options are provided:
• Check spelling as you type — select this check box if you want Reviewer to correct spelling mistakes immediately.
• Ignore words in UPPERCASE — select this check box if you do not want Reviewer to flag words that are in uppercase.
• Ignore words in Mixedcase — select this check box if you do not want Reviewer to flag words that are in mixed case.
• Ignore words with numbers — select this check box if you do not want Reviewer to flag words that contain numbers.
• Ignore Internet and file addresses — select this check box if you do not want Reviewer to flag internet addresses or file paths.
• Language — select language from the list.
The User Dictionary Contents tab
In this tab, you can enter words that are not part of the standard dictionary to prevent Reviewer to flag them as errors. Type the word in the space provided and press the Enter key. Click OK when you are done.
The Common Misspellings tab
In this tab, you can enter the common misspellings of standard dictionary words. While generating the report, Reviewer replaces the misspelled words with the correct ones. You can also enter nonstandard words, but these should be listed in the User Dictionary Contents tab.
