Synchronizing requirements the first time - requirement mapping (Integration for Windchill RV&S)
When you synchronize Requirements the first time, you may have SysML Requirements in a Modeler model that require exporting to a Windchill RV&S Document, or Requirements in a Windchill RV&S Document that require importing to a Modeler Package.
Before Integration for Lifecycle Manager can work with a Windchill RV&S Document, the Document Type of that Document must be configured to work with Integration for Lifecycle Manager. How?
To import Windchill RV&S requirements to a Modeler package the first time:
1. From Modeler, open the model that owns the Package into which you want to import the Windchill RV&S Requirements.
2. In the Packages pane, select the Package into which you want to import the Windchill RV&S Requirements, that is, the root item.
3. On the Tools ribbon tab, click the arrow next to Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click Synchronize.
4. Set the options on each page of Integration for Lifecycle Manager as required.
If you require help for any of Integration for Lifecycle Manager pages, click Help > Help Topics.
*
On the Mapping Selection page, click the Create New button, and set the Mapping Type to Requirement Mapping.
On the Synchronization Directions page, in the Options group select the Modeler <- Integrity Lifecycle Manager option.
On the Synchronize page, click the Save Mapping and Synchronize button so that you can repeat the synchronization using the same settings.
5. On the Synchronization Log page, review the log for any problems that occurred during the synchronization.
