Creating a requirement on a diagram (SysML)
This topic provides information for creating a requirement through a Diagram. For information about creating Requirements through a Modeler pane or a Requirement Diagram, see Creating a requirement on a requirement diagram or Creating a requirement through a Modeler pane.
To create a requirement on a diagram:
1. If required, set up the default name and the number of digits to use for new requirements. How?
2. In Modeler, open the diagram.
3. On the diagram tab, click the Requirement button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
4. Type the name of the Requirement, and then press the Enter key.
5. On the Requirement's Property Pages, click the Text tab, and then from the drop-down list select Description.
6. Type the text of the Requirement in the Description property.
