Defining actor inheritance

UML Modeling Techniques > Use case modeling > Use case diagrams > Defining actor inheritance

You can define Actor inheritance on a Use Case Diagram or Class Diagram.

To define actor inheritance:

1. On the Use Case Diagram or Class Diagram tab, click the

Generalization button.

2. On the diagram, click the sub Actor.

3. On the diagram, click the super Actor.

4. Type the name of the Generalization, and then press the Enter key.
