Report writer - dictionary filter tab
The Dictionary Filter tab allows you to select item types to include in the reports.
In the Selected Types list, select the check boxes associated with the item types you want to include in the report.
You can select the item types associated with a specific diagram type by selecting the required diagram type in the Add to Selection by Diagram Type list.
This tab is relevant only for the following reports:
Item Details Full
Item Details Brief
Item Descriptions
Item Catalog
Item/Diagram Cross Reference (used on)
Collation of Reports for Each Item
Item Checks
The following controls are available:
Add To Selection By Diagram Type list - lists the available diagram types. Selecting a diagram type from the list, selects in the Selected Types list those item types associated with the diagram type you selected.
Selected Type list - lists item types. Select the check boxes associated with the item types you want to include in the reports.
Select All button - selects all check boxes in the Selected Types list.
Clear All button - clears all check boxes in the Selected Type list.
Clear Contents of the Output Tab check box - specifies that the Output pane is cleared before generating a new report.
Report button - generates the reports to the Output pane using the options you have set up.
Stop button - stops generating a report.
Close button - closes the Report Writer.
New Report button - clears the options you have set, so that you can set new options for new reports.
Help button - opens this topic.
