This property specifies that the base Class, Data Type, Interface or Signal will be refined. Virtual Base Class is a property of Generalizations that link Classes, Data Types, Interfaces or Signals, not Generalizations that link Use Cases.

By default, the Virtual Base Class check box is cleared.

This property is set on the Options tab of a Generalization's Property Pages.
