Protocol (property)

This property specifies the Protocol of a Multidrop Bus Type or Point to Point Connection Type. Note that:
• When a Multidrop Bus is linked to the Multidrop Bus Type, the Protocol property applies to the linked Multidrop Bus.
• When a Point to Point Connection is linked to the Point to Point Connection Type, the Protocol property applies to the linked Point to Point Connection.
By default, the Protocol box is blank.
This property is set on the Options tab of a Multidrop Bus Type's or Point to Point Connection Type's Property Pages.
