Event type (property)

This property specifies the trigger type for the Event.
By default, the Event Type is set to Opaque Event.
This property can be set on the Options tab of the Event's Property Pages. After changing the value of the Event Type property from its Opaque Event default, the Event Type property is made read-only and cannot be changed.
You can set the Event Type to the following values:
Call Event - specifies that the Event is triggered by an Operation. When Call Event is selected, an Operation box and Select button appear so that you can select the Operation that triggers the Event. The Operation can also be linked to the Event through the Links Editor.
Change Event - specifies that the Event is triggered by the satisfaction of an expression. When Change Event is selected, an Expression box appears so that you can specify the expression for the Event.
Opaque Event - specifies that the Event is an opaque event.
Signal Event - specifies that the Event is triggered by a Signal. When Signal Event is selected, a Signal box and Select button appear so that you can select the Signal that triggers the Event.
Time Event - specifies that the Event is triggered by a timed event. When Time Event is selected, a When box appears so that you can specify the criteria for triggering the Event.
