Moving items to a package

Model, Component, and Package Management > Package management > Overview of packages > Moving items to a package

Maintaining the items in a Package is best achieved through the Packages pane.

• Drag the items to the required Package. You can drag multiple items from the Contents pane.

Alternatively

1. Right-click the item you want to package, and then click Scope to Package.

2. From the Select Object dialog, select the required Package, and then click OK.

Modeler links the item and the Package.

• You can make this link through the Links Editor, and through a copy and paste operation in the Modeler panes.

• You require Write access permissions to both the source and destination Package.

• Some item types cannot be scoped directly by a Package. For more information, click here.
