Starting and stopping a database (Model Manager)
Starting a database
1. Right-click on a database, and then select Perform Task. The Perform Task dialog box opens.
2. From Tasks, select Start.
3. To start the database immediately, select Now and then click Start.
To schedule the task for a later date or time, select Later, and then under Start Date and Start Time, select a date and time, and then click Schedule.
4. In the Model Browser, confirm the database has started.
Stopping a database
1. Right-click on a database, and then select Perform Task. The Perform Task dialog box opens.
2. From Tasks, select Stop.
3. To stop the database immediately, select Now and then click Stop.
To schedule the task for a later date or time, select Later, and then under Start Date and Start Time, select a date and time, and then click Schedule.
4. In the Model Browser, confirm the database has started.
