Creating a new model (Model Manager)
Use Model Manager to create new models with profiles from a database.
1. Right-click on a database, and then select Perform Task. The Perform Task dialog box opens.
2. Select Create Model.
3. Select Now and then click Start.
4. To schedule the task for a later date or time, select Later, and then under Start Date and Start Time, select a date and time, and then click Schedule.
5. Enter a model name.
6. Click on the Profiles tab and select the profiles to be used in the new model.
7. Click Commit. A new model will be created in the database. Use the Scheduled Tasks, Running Tasks and Executed Tasks tables to monitor the task and ensure successful completion. When executed, the new model will be displayed in the Model Browser.
