Creating a variant diagram

You can create a Variant Diagram as a child of a Package, the Model, or a Variation Point.

To create a variant diagram as a child of a package or the model:

1. In a Modeler pane, locate the Package or the Model that is to own the Variant Diagram.

2. Right-click the owning Package or Model, and select New > Variability > Variant Diagram.

3. Type the name of the Variant Diagram, and then press the Enter key.

To create a variant diagram as a child of a variation point:

1. In a Modeler pane, locate the Variation Point that is to own the Variant Diagram.

2. Right-click the owning Variation Point, and select New > Variant Diagram.

On a diagram you can double-click a Variation Point to open its Variant Diagrams.
