The default SQL Server Express edition that is installed with Integrity Modeler supports up to one processor and four cores.

If you require higher performance, consider setting up SQL Server Standard edition.

Also, note that on 64–bit computers, it is recommended that you install the 64–bit version of SQL Server Standard Edition for better performance.
