Integration project (ARINC for VxWorks code)
An Integration Project is a package containing model elements defining the configuration of a module from an ARINC 653 of view. It does not contain the implementation detail of processes - it only goes so far as to reference the processes using process parts. The implementation detail of processes occurs within Application Projects.
Create an Integration Project from a Package: Right-click the owning Package, point to ARINC 653, point to New, and then click Integration Project. The profile prompts you for an integration project and module name and then creates the Integration Project and the default diagrams and items for the configuration.
For information about what diagrams and items are created through the New > Integration Project command, see Diagrams and items created through the new > integration project command (ARINC for VxWorks code).
You can view all the Integration Projects in the model through the Integration Project folder in the ARINC 653 Profile pane.
An Integration Project is based on a UML Package.
The following sections provide information about how an Integration Project is used in the model.
