Starting or Stopping a Database
You can start or stop a database only if you are an administrator of that database.
To start or stop a database
1. Start Model Explorer.
2. Expand the SQL Icon, the Server Instance, then right-click the database you want to start or stop.
3. Click Start or Stop.
