The item's stereotypes are not being displayed on the diagram
This problem can be caused by the item's View Options set to not show Stereotypes, or the item's Stereotypes being hidden by the diagram.
To determine whether the item's View Options are hiding the Stereotypes:
1. Right-click the item on the diagram, and then click View Options.
2. Click the Stereotypes entry.
3. If the Show Stereotypes check box is cleared, the items Stereotypes are hidden.
If you want to show Stereotypes on the item, select the Show Stereotypes check box.
To determine whether the diagram is hiding the item's Stereotypes:
1. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
2. Click the Shown Stereotypes entry.
3. Click the Link button.
4. If the check boxes associated with the item's Stereotypes are cleared, the diagram is hiding the item's Stereotypes.
If you want to show the item's Stereotypes, select the check boxes associated with the Stereotypes you want to show, and then click OK. Alternatively, you can show a Stereotype on all diagrams by selecting the Show on All Diagrams check box on the Stereotype's Property Pages.

As an alternative to using the View Options, you can select and clear Shown Stereotypes through the Items tab of a diagram's Property Pages.
