• Show Stereotypes For - lists the symbol types that can appear on the diagram and in each case specifies whether their view options are set to show or hide Stereotypes and Tag Definitions:

◦ When a check box is selected and a new symbol of that type is added to the diagram, the view options of that symbol will have their Show Stereotypes and Show Tag Definitions check boxes selected.

◦ When a check box is cleared and a new symbol of that type is added to the diagram, the view options of that symbol will have their Show Stereotypes and Show Tag Definitions check boxes cleared.

• Vertical Arrangement - specifies that for new symbols that are added to the diagram, the view options of that symbol will have their Vertical Alignment check box selected. Note that this option applies to all symbol types on the diagram.
