Setting up contents pane columns for a stereotype or tag definition
You can specify which property and association columns are shown in the Contents pane for a Stereotype or Tag Definition. The columns are shown only when the Stereotype or Tag Definition is selected in a pane created for a browsable profile Package.
Note If you set up a column for a one-to-many association, only the first associated item is shown.
To set up contents pane columns for a stereotype or tag definition:
1. Open the Property Pages of the Stereotype or Tag Definition for which you want to set up property or association columns.
2. Click the Contents pane.
3. For each column you want to show in the Contents pane:
a. Click the New Item button.
b. In the Property Name column, select the property or association for which you want a column.
*
For a Stereotype, properties and associations of the Stereotype's valid model item types are listed. For a Tag Definition, properties and associations of the Tag Definition's valid target item types are listed.
c. In the Width column, set the default width of the column.
d. In the Alignment column, set the justification of text displayed in the column, that is, left, center or right. Note that the first column is always left aligned.
4. After you have defined all the columns, use the following buttons to arrange the columns in the required order:
Moves the selected column to the top of the list.
Moves the selected column up one place in the list.
Moves the selected column down one place in the list.
