Setting up a model to open custom tables in your internet browser or Excel (Utilities profile)
By default, when you open a custom table or custom matrix it is generated as HTML and opened in your default internet browser. You can set up a model so that custom tables and custom matrices are generated as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and opened in Microsoft Excel.
To set up a model to open custom tables and custom matrices in Microsoft Excel:
1. In the Packages pane, right-click the Model, point to Options, and then click Matrix/Table Generation Format.
2. In the dialog, from the Matrix/Table Generation Format list, select Excel_XLS.
3. Click OK.
To set up a model to open custom tables and custom matrices in your internet browser:
1. In the Packages pane, right-click the Model, point to Options, and then click Matrix/Table Generation Format.
2. In the dialog, from the Matrix/Table Generation Format list, select HyperTextMarkupLanguage_HTML.
3. Click OK.
