Creating an attribute
You can create an Attribute through a Class Diagram or a Modeler pane.
For information about creating a Part or Port, which may be an Attribute, click here
To create an attribute through a class diagram:
1. On the Class Diagram toolbar, click the Attribute button.
2. Click the item that is to own the Attribute, that is, a Class, Data Type, Interface or Signal.
3. Type the name of the Attribute, and then press the Enter key.
To create an attribute through a Modeler pane:
1. In a Modeler pane, locate the item that is to own the Attribute, that is, a Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Package or the Model.
2. Right-click the owning item.
3. Point to New, and then click Attribute.
or
Point to New , point to UML , point to Structure , and then click Attribute.
4. Type the name of the Attribute, and then press the Enter key.
