Rescoping a part
You can rescope a Part through the Parts pane and a Composite Structure Diagram:
Parts pane - drag the Part to a different Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port.
Composite Structure Diagram - drag the part to a different Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port.
Parts pane and Composite Structure Diagram - drag the Part from the Parts pane to a different Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port on a Composite Structure Diagram.

If you hold down the Alt key when you drag a Part to a Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port on a Composite Structure Diagram, Modeler adds or moves the Part without rescoping it.
Through the Parts pane:
1. In the Parts pane, expand the appropriate Classes, Data Types, Interfaces, Signals, Parts or Ports to show the Part you want to rescope and the Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port you want to rescope it to.
2. In the Parts pane, drag the Part you want to rescope to the Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port you want to rescope it to.
Through a Composite Structure Diagram:
On the Composite Structure Diagram, drag the Part you want to rescope to the Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port you want to rescope it to.
Through the Parts pane and a Composite Structure Diagram:
1. Open the Composite Structure Diagram that contains the Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port to which you want to rescope the Part.
2. In the Parts pane, expand the appropriate Classes, Data Types, Interfaces, Signals, Parts and Ports to show the Part you want to rescope.
3. From the Parts pane, drag the Part you want to rescope to the Class, Data Type, Interface, Signal, Part or Port you want to rescope it to on the Composite Structure Diagram.
