When you select the Has Parameter check box for a Variant or Dependency, Modeler creates a Variant Parameter object through the Parameter association. Parameter Type is an attribute of the Variant Parameter object.

This property specifies the type of a Variant or Dependency's parameter.

By default, the Parameter Type is set to short.

The Parameter Type can be set to Boolean, long, short and string.

This property is set on the Parameter tab of a Variant or Dependency's Property Pages. Note that this property is available only when the Has Parameter check box is selected.
