This property specifies the direction in which an Association's Name should be read, in the context of the two items it links.

On a Class Diagram, the direction of an Association's Name is indicated through a black arrow:

By default, Name Direction is from the first item to the second item.

This property is set on the Options tab of an Association's Property Pages. The Name Direction button reverses the Name Direction.

On a Composite Structure Diagram, you can hide the Name Direction arrow through the View Options.
