Immutable (property)

This property specifies that the Operation is Immutable. An immutable Operation does not change the state or any member variables (Attributes) of the Class, Data Type or Interface.

By default, the Immutable check box is cleared.

This property is set on the Options tab of an Operation's Property Pages.

If you select the UML\Operations folder in the Dictionary pane, the Contents pane shows the Immutable property of each Operation in the model. The Immutable value can be either True or False.
