When you select the Has Parameter check box for a Variant or Dependency, Modeler creates a Variant Parameter object through the Parameter association. Default String is an attribute of the Variant Parameter object.
This property specifies the default value of a Variant or Requires Dependency's parameter.
By default, the value of the Default property is set as follows:
• When the type of the parameter is boolean, the default value of the Default property is True.
• When the type of the parameter is long or short, the default value of the Default property is 0.
• When the type of the parameter is string, the default value of the Default property is blank.
This property is set on the Parameter tab of a Variant or Dependency's Property Pages. Note that this property is available only when the Has Default check box is selected.
