For automation interface information about the Applicable Diagram Types property (Applicable Type association through the automation interface), see the automation interface topic for a Script in the Related Topics. This property is stored in a Script object that is associated with the Stereotype object through the Owned Menu Script association.
The Applicable Diagram Types property specifies diagram types for which a Stereotype's context menu command should be shown:
• If no diagram types are specified, the context menu command can appear on all diagram types.
• If one or more diagram types are specified, the context men command can appear only on those diagram types.
You can select standard diagram types and diagram types created through Stereotypes, such as SysML and UPDM diagram types.
By default, the Applicable Diagram Types property is blank.
The Applicable Diagram Types property can be set only when the Command Context is Universal or SymbolOnly.
This property is set on the Menu tab of a Stereotype's Property Pages - this property is set in the Applicable Diagram Types column: select the entry, and then click within the Applicable Diagram Types cell; Modeler opens the Links Editor for you to select the valid diagram types.
To write scripts you require a good working knowledge of the VBScript language, the Modeler Meta Model and the Modeler Automation Interface. If you run a script that has errors, those errors can corrupt Modeler model data and make Modeler crash.
