For automation interface information about a Memory, see
Memory.
A Memory item and its linked Memory Type define the memory requirements for a Board Type.
The following properties of a Memory are inherited from a linked Memory Type:
• Dual Ported
• Persistent
• Speed
• Writeable
You can create a Memory through the context menu of a Board Type, and through the Memory tab of a Board Type's Property Pages.
If you select the Proprietary\Memories folder in the Dictionary pane, the Contents pane displays the following information about each Memory in the model: Memory Start, Memory End and Memory Size.
In the Modeler panes, a short-cut symbol on the Memory's icon indicates that the item is a
stub.
The following sections provide information about how a Memory item is used in the model. For more information about a property, item, model part or diagram, click it.
Dependency — The Dependency is owned jointly by the Memory and the other associated item. The access permissions you have to a Dependency are determined by the access permissions of the dependent item.
