Reconnecting Modeler packages to configuration control (CM tool integration)
There are two commands for reconnecting a Package to configuration control, that is, the Store CM Tool Paths Globally in Model command and the Store CM Tool Paths Locally On My Computer command:
You use the Store CM Tool Paths Globally in Model command when a Package has been disconnected from configuration control and you want to reconnect the Package to configuration control. To use this command you must be a Database Administrator.
You use the Store CM Tool Paths Locally On My Computer command when a Package appears not to be under configuration control because your CM tool paths are different from those CM tool paths stored in the Model. This command works only if the Model is under configuration control. You cannot use this command when using Telelogic SYNERGY/CM.

Only those descendent Packages that are stored in the selected CM tool model are reconnected. If your Model contains Packages from different CM tool projects, you must run the Reconnect to Configuration Management > Store CM Tool Paths Globally in Model or Store CM Tool paths Locally on my Computer command for each CM tool project in turn.
You can disconnect Packages from configuration control through the Configuration Management > Advanced > Disconnect From Configuration Management command.
To reconnect a Model after moving the CM tool to a different folder or computer, or baselining a CM tool project:
1. From Modeler, right-click the Model you want to reconnect, point to Tools > Configuration Management, point to Advanced, and then click Disconnect From Configuration Management.
2. Right-click the Model you want to reconnect, point to Tools > Configuration Management, point to Advanced, point to Reconnect To Configuration Management, and then click Store CM Tool Paths Globally in Model.
3. Right-click the Model you want to reconnect, point to Tools > Configuration Management, and then click Check Out.
4. Right-click the Package you want to reconnect, point to Tools > Configuration Management, point to Advanced, and then click Disconnect From Configuration Management.
5. Right-click the Model you want to reconnect, point to Tools > Configuration Management, point to Advanced, point to Reconnect To Configuration Management, and then click Store CM Tool Paths Globally in Model.
6. Right-click the Model you want to reconnect, point to Tools > Configuration Management, and then click Check In.
To reconnect Packages to configuration control (Packages are disconnected):
1. From Modeler, right-click the Package you want to connect to configuration control, point to Tools > Configuration Management, point to Advanced, point to Reconnect To Configuration Management, and then click Store CM Tool Paths Globally in Model.
2. Select the CM tool project, to which the Package and its descendent Packages were connected, and then click OK.
The Package and its descendent Packages are returned to configuration control.
To reconnect Packages to configuration control (Packages in Model use different CM tool paths):
1. From Modeler, right-click the Package you want to connect to configuration control, point to Tools > Configuration Management, point to Advanced, point to Reconnect To Configuration Management, and then click Store CM Tool Paths Locally On My Computer.
2. Select the CM tool project, to which the Package and its descendent Packages were connected, and then click OK.
The Package and its descendent Packages are returned to configuration control.
