Part view options - composite structure diagram
The following view options are available:
Show Name - specifies that the Name of the Part is shown.
Show Full Name - specifies that the fully scoped Name of the Part is shown. Fully scoped names are shown only when the Part appears as a top-level Part on the diagram, that is, the Part is dragged on to the diagram background. This option is not available when the Part is shown as a frame.
Show Type - shows either the name of the Part's types, or the type of the Part's type:
If the Part is not shown as a frame, specifies that the name of the Part's type (prefixed by a colon) is shown after the name of the Part.
If the Part is shown as a frame, specifies that the meta type of the Part is shown in bold before the name of the Part, that is, either Role or Attribute.
Show Multiplicity - specifies that the multiplicity of the Part is shown. This option is not available when the Part is shown as a frame.
Show Default Value - specifies that the default value of the Part is shown (prefixed by an equals sign). This option is not available when the Part is shown as a frame.
Show As Frame - specifies that the Part is shown as a frame. This option is available only when the Part is a top-level Part on the diagram that is, the Part is dragged on to the diagram background.
Show Text As Floating Attachment - specifies that the text of the Part symbol floats so that it can be moved around.
Docking Type - specifies how the Part is docked to its owning symbol.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking the diagram background, the check boxes you select set the default view options for any Parts that are added to the diagram there after.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking one or more selected Parts, the check boxes you select change the view options of those Parts.
