Ordering items in a package
You can order items in a Package, so that in the Packages pane they appear in the required order. In the Packages pane, a Package's Attributes are shown first, followed by its Operations and then other item types.
To show package items as ordered
1. Click the View menu. Package items are shown as ordered when the Show Package Items Sorted command is not checked.
2. If the Show Package Items Sorted command is checked, click the Show Package Items Sorted command.
To show package items ordered by type and name
1. Click the View menu. Package items are ordered by type and name when the Show Package Items Sorted command is checked.
2. If the Show Package Items Sorted command is not checked, click the Show Package Items Sorted command.
To order package items through the property pages
1. Open the Property Pages for the required Package.
2. Click the Items tab.
3. In the Show Associated list, select Attributes, Operations, or All Package Items.
4. Click the item you want to move.
5. Use the appropriate buttons to move the item to the required position:
—Moves the item to the top of the list.
—Moves the item up one place in the list.
—Moves the item down one place in the list.
—Moves the item to the bottom of the list.

To order package items through the packages or relationships pane
1. On the View menu, ensure that the Show Package Items Sorted is not checked. If the command is checked, click the command.
2. In the Packages pane, right-click the item you want to move, and then click Move Up or Move Down.

You can order items (that are not Attributes and Operations) only when the Show Package Items Sorted command on the View menu is not checked.
