• Types list—lists the types of items that can be linked to the source item. Select the type for which you want to link items.
• Left pane—select the folder or item that displays the items you want to link in the middle pane. Note that if it takes too long to list the items, press the Escape key to abandon the operation; the items that had been loaded before pressing the Escape key are listed.
• Middle pane—lists the items that are scoped to the item or folder selected in the left pane. Select the check boxes associated with the items you want to link. When you select a check box, the associated item is added to the Select Items pane.
• Selected Items pane—initially lists linked items, and then lists items that are selected for linking in the middle pane. Unlink an item by clearing its associated check box in the Selected Items pane.
• OK button—links any new items that have been selected for linking, unlinks any items that have been selected (check box cleared) for unlinking, and then closes the dialog.
• Cancel button—closes the dialog without linking or unlinking any items.
