Granting a user owner access permissions to a package

Administration > Database Management > Access permissions > Model item access permissions > Granting a user owner access permissions to a package

1. Open the Property Pages for the Package (or Model).

2. Click the Access Permissions tab.

3. For each user you want to grant Owner access permissions:

a. Click the

New Item button.

b. From the Name list that opens, select the required User or Group.

c. Click the associated Permissions cell, and then from the list click Owner.

• You require Owner access permissions to a Package to set its access permissions.

• Repository Administrators and users that have Owner access permissions of the database have Owner access permission of the Model and all Packages in the Model.

• You can set new access permissions and change common access permissions for many Packages, by selecting the required Packages in the Contents pane.

• You cannot change the access permissions of a Model that is checked in to a CM tool.
