Fork view options - general flow diagram
The following view options are available:
Show Name—specifies that the Name of the Fork or linked item is shown.
Show Description—specifies that the Description of the Fork is shown.
Show Associated Item Name—specifies that the name of the linked item is shown (if there is one), rather than the name of the Fork. The Name is shown only if the Show Name check box is selected.
Show Full Name—specifies that the fully scoped name of the linked item is shown. The Name of the linked item is shown only if the Show Name and Show Associated Item Name check boxes are selected.
Show Instance Signature—specifies that signature of the linked item is shown (if there is one). The signature is shown only if the Show Name check box is selected. The format of the instance signature is as follows:
<name of the fork>:<name or full name of the linked item>
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking the diagram background, the check boxes you select set the default view options for any Forks that are added to the diagram there after.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking one or more selected Forks, the check boxes you select change the view options of those Forks.
Note that a Fork is a General Flow Diagram Node whose Node Type is set to Fork.
