Creating a history state
You can create a History State on a State Diagram or through a Modeler browser. Define a History State's incoming and outgoing Transitions on a State Diagram.
To create a history state on a state diagram:
1. In the State Diagram toolbar, click the History State button.
2. In the State Diagram, click in free space or within a Sequential State.
3. If you want the History State to represent deep history:
a. Open the History State's property pages.
b. In the Options tab, select the Deep History check box.
To create a history state in a Modeler browser:
1. Right-click the State Machine or Sequential State that is to own the History State, point to New, point to Pseudo State, and then click History State.
2. If you want the History State to represent Deep History:
a. Open the History State's property pages.
b. In the Options tab, select the Deep History check box.
