This topic is for the Source Selection page of the Component Sharing Wizard (Step 2 of 7).
The options available on this page depend on the Component Sharing Wizard operation you are performing.
Note that you can select all check boxes or clear all check boxes by right-clicking in the browser pane, and then clicking Check All or Uncheck All.
Export to Directory
The Model box shows the name and version of the active Modeler model.
The Components browser shows the Packages in the current model. Select the check boxes associated with the Packages that are required for the component.
If you clear or select a check box, the check boxes associated with any child Packages are also cleared or selected.
Export to Model
The Model box shows the name and version of the active Modeler model.
The Components browser shows the Packages in the current model. Select the check boxes associated with the Packages that are required for the component.
If you clear or select a check box, the check boxes associated with any child Packages are also cleared or selected.
Export to CM
The Model box shows the name and version of the active Modeler model.
The Components browser shows the Packages in the current model. Select the check boxes associated with the Packages that are required for the component.
If you clear or select a check box, the check boxes associated with any child Packages are also cleared or selected.
Import from Directory
The CWF File box shows the name of the CWF file you have selected for import. Select a CWF file through the associated selection button. When you select a CWF file, the Component Information dialog displays information about the selected file, including which components it contains.
The Components box lists the components that are contained in the selected CSF file.
Import from Model
The Model box shows the name of the Modeler model you have selected for import. Select a Modeler model through the associated selection button.
The Components browser shows the Packages in the selected model. Select the check boxes associated with the Packages that are required for the component.
Import from CM
The CM Tool box shows the name of the CM tool being used. Click the Selection button associated with the CM Tool box to specify the required information on the CM Command Configuration dialog:
• CM Tool – select the CM tool you are using.
• Database – select the required CM tool database, or click the button to specify the path and name of a database.
• Project – specify the project in the database. For example, $/MyProject for a Visual SourceSafe project.
• CWF File – specify the name of the CWF file that you want to import.
• Version – specify the version of the CWF file you want to import, or leave blank to import the latest version of the file.
The Components box shows the Packages that will be imported.
