CM tool integration is not working with SYNERGY/CM (CM tool integration)
The CM tool integration will work with SYNERGY/CM only if the following tasks have been performed:
The Telelogic integration patch has been installed, ensuring that the PATH environment variable is set up correctly.
The Modeler types have been set up in the SYNERGY/CM database.
The SYNERGY/CM project has its purpose set to Shared and contains no spaces in its name.
The SYNERGY/CM Directory Object has its status set to Integrate or Public.
The Work Area's Directory is defined using a UNC path.
If CM tool integration is still not working, you may have to activate the Modeler types that are set up on the server. To do this, create dummy files in the SYNERGY/CM project that have .pkf and .mdf extensions. The SCC interface may then start working correctly.
For more information about setting up SYNERGY/CM for use with Modeler, see here: Setting up a SYNERGY/CM database to work with Modeler - with SYNERGY/CM (CM tool integration)
If SYNERGY/CM is not licensed correctly, you will experience messages such as File <file name> does not exist. To resolve this problem, ensure that SYNERGY/CM is correctly licensed.
If the SYNERGY/CM database reaches its size limit, check in and undo check out operations will fail with messages such as RtS Not Authorized. To resolve this problem, increase the size of the SYNERGY/CM database server (ccm dbspace). For more information about increasing the size of the SYNERGY/CM database server, see the SYNERGY/CM Database Server Administration section of the SYNERGY/CM Administration Guide for Windows.
