Adding the MARTE profile package to a model
1. Ensure that you have Database Write access permissions to the Model's Database.
2. Open the Model to which you want apply the MARTE profile.
3. On the Tools menu, click Add Profile.
4. Select the MARTE entry, and then click OK.

• The MARTE Profile is very large and it may take many hours to add this profile to a model.
• Do not make changes to the MARTE profile. Any changes you make will be lost when the profile is updated.
You can create Tag Definitions outside of the MARTE profile, and link those Tag Definitions to Stereotypes in the MARTE profile. When the MARTE profile is updated, the links will not be broken.
• Do not create copies of the MARTE profile within a model, or create copies of the MARTE profile through XMI Import/Export. The copies of the MARTE profile will not work correctly and you will not be able to update the copies through the Update All Profiles command.
