Adding meta model types to a profile diagram
You can add a meta model type to a Profile Diagram through the Meta Class toolbar button or through a drag-and-drop operation.
To add a meta model type through the meta class toolbar button:
1. On the Profile Diagram toolbar, click the Meta Class button.
2. On the diagram, click in free space.
3. On the Select Object dialog, select the Meta Model Type you want to add, and then click OK.
To add a meta model type through a drag-and-drop operation:
1. In the Dictionary pane, expand the UML folder, and then expand the Meta Model Type.
2. Locate the Meta Model Type you want to add to the diagram.
3. Drag the Meta Model Type from the Dictionary pane to free space on the diagram.
To populate meta model types:
To populate valid Meta Model Types for a Stereotype: right-click the Stereotype, point to Populate , and then click Meta Types.
To populate Meta Model Types that are target types for a Stereotype's reference Tag Definitions: right-click the Stereotype, point to Populate, and then click Reference Tags.
