When you click an Activity Partition on an Activity Diagram, you select its owning activity partition group. To select an Activity Partition, you must double-click that Activity Partition, or press and hold down the Ctrl key before clicking the Activity Partition.
The following view options are available:
• Show Name - specifies that the Name of the Activity Partition is shown.
• Show Linked Item Name - specifies that the Name of the linked item is shown (if there is one).
• Show Type - specifies that the type of the linked item is shown after the name of the linked item.
• Horizontal - specifies that the Activity Partition (and any other related Activity Partitions) is orientated horizontally
• Vertical - specifies that the Activity Partition (and any other related Activity Partitions) is orientated vertically.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking the diagram background, the check boxes you select set the default view options for any Activity Partitions that are added to the diagram there after.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking one or more selected Activity Partitions, the check boxes you select change the view options of those items only.
