Model Explorer is Slow
This problem can be caused by bookmarking repositories that are stopped or no longer exist or cannot be contacted. Model Explorer attempts to contact the repositories that no longer exist, and in each case you will have to wait for the connection attempt to time out. To improve performance, remove bookmarks from repositories you are not using.
To Remove a Bookmark from a Database:
1. Start Model Explorer.
2. Right-click the database for which you want to remove the Bookmark, and then click Remove Bookmark.
