Introduction to Connector for IBM Rational Rose (Connector for IBM Rational Rose)
Connector for IBM Rational Rose allows you to import diagrams and their items from Rational Rose models.
For information about which versions of IBM Rational Rose are supported, see the Modeler release notes.
To use Connector for IBM Rational Rose you must have IBM Rational Rose and Modeler installed on your computer.
*
Connector for IBM Rational Rose is designed to populate new Packages with information. Connector for IBM Rational Rose is not designed to update information that was previously imported, because Connector for IBM Rational Rose will not overwrite items that exist in a model
The restrictions applied to diagrams in Rose and Modeler are different, so the information that can be imported may be constrained. After importing a diagram, we recommend that you review the diagram in Modeler and add any required information that has not been imported. For detailed information about how each diagram type is imported, see its mapping topic.
