Adding the TDK generator framework profile to a model (TDK)
TDK3G Models and TDK Code Generation Transformation Patterns models must include the TDK Generator Framework profile. The TDK Generator Framework provides the Classes required to generate ACS Code Generator DLLs from a TDK3G model or TDK Code Generation Transformation Patterns model.
The supplied TDK models include the TDK Generator Framework profile.
• Do not make changes to the TDK Generator Framework profile. Any changes you make will be lost when the profile is updated.
You can create Tag Definitions outside of the TDK Generator Framework profile, and link those Tag Definitions to Stereotypes in the TDK Generator Framework profile. When the TDK Generator Framework profile is updated, the links will not be broken.
• Do not create copies of the TDK Generator Framework profile within a model, or create copies of the TDK Generator Framework profile through XMI Import/Export. The copies of the TDK Generator Framework profile will not work correctly and you will not be able to update the copies through the Update All Profiles command.
To add the TDK Generator Framework Profile to a TDK model:
1. From Modeler, open the TDK Model to which you want to add the TDK Generator Framework package.
2. On the Tools menu, click Add Profile.
3. Select the TDK Generator Framework entry, and then click OK.
4. In the Packages pane, right-click the Model, and then click Initialize Model.
